According to a posting on the RUSH fan site Power Windows, RUSH bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee and MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister are among the musicians interviewed for the "Ringers: Lord of the Fans" DVD, an award-winning film which charts the incredible influence and ripple-effect that "Lord of the Rings" has had on worldwide pop culture over the past five decades. Having demonstrated he is a "Ringer" in the song "Rivendell", a brief glimpse of Geddy live on stage is included in the film's trailer.
According to TheOneRing.net, Geddy's "heartfelt comments on the power of J.R.R. Tolkien's stories make it easy to understand how the world of rock and roll was forever changed by 'The Lord of the Rings'. The fine connections between these two art forms is sharply drawn by Mr. Lee, as he explains the wonderful influence of Middle-earth on his early songwriting...
